RESPIGHI | Pines of Rome
One of the foremost pianists of her generation, Yeol Eum Son is celebrated for her exceptional artistry and captivating performances. Praised as a “dazzling tour de force” (The Scotsman), she will perform Liszt’s First Piano Concerto, showcasing her impressive technical prowess. Joining her is conductor Roberto González-Monjas, known for his dynamic presence and insightful interpretations. Completing the programme are Lutosławski's Variations on a Theme by Paganini and two Respighi tone poems, evoking the shimmering fountains and majestic pines of Rome.
The concert runs approximately 1 hour 30 minutes with an intermission.
